I was recently interviewed for an article in SMH.com.au. The subject was children who leave home but then return as adults to stay with their parents again. This has been an increasing trend over the past few years as young couples try to save more money to get into the increasing housing market. In Sydney and in most capital cities around the country, house prices have been increasing at a faster rate than a lot of people's ability to save cash for the deposit. This has lead to the increase in people moving back with parents in low/no rent situations to help increase their savings to get into the property market.
