In a world obsessed with yield it's really no wonder well-placed advertisements of companies offering up to 8 percent returns have become more and more prevalent. But who exactly are these guys offering these "too good to be true" returns. In this article i go back and look at the history of companies offering high yielding investments and compare it to whats going on today. I also give out my advice to potential investors who might be eyeing off these kinds of investments.
