With the Australian Dollar at historically high levels, I have experienced an increase in the level of interest in investing overseas from my clients who run self managed super funds over the past 12 months. In this article, I explore the different options available to people who run their own super funds and wish to purchase investments overseas (in foreign currencies) to take advantage of the high Australian dollar. Some the interesting ways we have invested has included buying stocks directly on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) in large companies such as Apple Inc (AAPL) and Google Inc (GOOG).

If you have a self managed super fund or would like to explore the option of setting one up, feel free to make an obligation free appointment to meet with me and discuss some of the simple things that you can change to get on track financially.
