For anyone who's ever been to the snowfields during ski season, you'll know that even the price of a modest 4 bedroom chalet close to the action can easily run as high as $1,000. Given the princely sums being charged, it's not surprising that the idea of a ski field investment property has crossed the minds of many. In this article, I crunch the numbers on ski resort investments and as it turns out squeezing a profit out of them proves to be a real uphill slog.
